Speed and Agility

The East Penn Soccer Club's Speed & Agility Program consists of group sessions that are dynamic, virtually non-stop exercises, drills and activities. The areas of focus include training relative to acceleration, stride length, stride rate, endurance, sprint form and technique as well as Agility Training relative to the ability to rapidly change directions without the loss of speed, balance or body control through improved movement, coordination and precision.  All activities, games, drills and exercises are geared toward an athlete's development associated with:

  • When trying to make quick first steps
  • When performing movement patterns and changes of direction at high speed
  • When decelerating over a few steps to set him/herself up optimally for offensive or defensive performance
  • Registration is for the purchase of 6 camp sessions and registration is through Demosphere "Online Registration" system.


Lead Trainer: Kristen Skaugen
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
Age Group: U8 to U15 year old players
Camp Dates: 7/24 to 7/28
Time of sessions: 
U8 to U11 - 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
U12 to U15 - 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Location: East Penn Soccer Club Training Facility

AGILITY AND CONDITIONING LEAD TRAINER

Kristen is the official Club Agility and Conditioning Lead Trainer. Kristen has degrees in both Exercise Science and Health & Physical Education.
She brings many years of experience in helping athletes achieve their agility and conditioning goals.
Kristen will be leading our upcoming Agility and Conditioning Camp this pre-season.
